Parks Township is a township in Armstrong County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The population was 2,744 at the 2010 census.


According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 14.2 square miles (36.8 km²), of which, 14.1 square miles (36.5 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.3 km²) of it (0.84%) is water.


The Kiskiminetas River forms the township's southern boundary with Westmoreland County. Carnahan Run flows through Parks Township.


As of the census of 2000, there were 2,754 people, 1,108 households, and 794 families residing in the township. The population density was 195.4 people per square mile (75.5/km²). There were 1,186 housing units at an average density of 84.2/sq mi (32.5/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 95.21% White, 3.23% African American, 0.04% Native American, 0.91% from other races, and 0.62% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.62% of the population.

A Med Return Drug Collection Box is in the lobby of the Parks Twp Police Dept, 26 Jackson Street, Vandergrift, for disposal of any prescription or over-the-counter medications.  The Office is open 9:00 to 5:00 Monday thru Friday.  Any questions call 724-567-5525 or 724-567-7764.

The following roads are scheduled to be paved June 27, 2018:  Kepple Avenue, Overlook Drive, Clearfield Avenue, Bryan  Street, Marshall  Street, Clarion Avenue, Armstrong Avenue, Elk Avenue, Cell Tower Road, Armstrong Avenue, Run Road, Erie Avenue, and the section of Pleasant View Drive from Kepple Avenue to Erie Avenue.  Please remove all vehicles parked along the above-listed streets by 6:00 am Wednesday morning (6/27/18).

The Summer Free Lunch Program will begin on June 13, 2018 and will be held at all three parks (North Vandergrift, Kiskimere, and Kepple Hill).   Children 18 and under are eligible to participate.
